Comedy club with a cleaner less offensive ethos

Paul Kerensa

"Karensa is a wildly talented comic... His on-stage presence is one of the most amiable and unthreatening around, whilst his writing is uniquely left of field and introduces concepts that a lot of his peers could not even imagine. Big things await this man."

Helen Tomblin

Can clean comedy be funny? 5 years of sell out gigs suggests yes. Helen founded the Laughing Sole in 2007, run in a pub under kingdom values.  She'll tells us about her story of faith and why she believes 'Laughter is the closest thing to the
grace of God.'

Barbara Nice

Mother of two from Stockport, worried that we are living in a world of ever-diminishing friendliness. A world where we keep ourselves to ourselves, heads down, afraid to catch each other’s eye. She wants us all to stand proud. To be open with ourselves and each other and look the world right in the eye and say ‘Hiya’. What’s the point otherwise?
